Leyton orient 4 - Yeovil 1.

Well hello there and welcome once again to my review of the latest Orient game. This Tuesday saw us play recently struggling yeovil in the league. Having won our last two games 1-0 and yeovil losing their's by the same score line , It wouldn't have been a silly decision to put a bet on 1-0 Orient , but the outcome of this game was anything but!

It was a chilly night at Brisbane road with a rather poor 2,876 in attendence , with only 191 of these being yeovil fans. The game didn't look that promising , but how wrong I was. Nathan Clarke delivered a long throw into the box for Ben Chorley to head it in after just three minutes. Just a few minutes later , Nathan Clarke delivered a throw from the east stand side this time found brunt who knocked behind the back four for Kevin Lisbie to head it on , but only for Ryan Brunts goal to be Disallowed because lisbie was offside. A few chance beckoned for both clubs , But Ryan Brunt finally got the goal he deserved when Lee Cook whipped it in from the Left and Brunt headed the ball on the floor for it to bounce in. This is how it stayed until Half time.

Half Time : Leyton Orient 2 - Yeovil 0

Ten minutes after the restart Yeovil found their way back in to the game when a clever bit of weaving by korey Smith enabled him to cross from the right hand side for Sam Foley to nod in from 2 yards at the back post. It was just about then I thought maybe this will be a repeat of last seasons game , But how wrong I was.... , The orient fans were in amazing voice and you would of thought we had 6 thousand at E10. Orient had many chances and penalty appeals , but it was Jimmy Smith who got Orient's third when a Corner was whipped in from the North East part of the ground , by  Gary Sawyer for Smith to kick it in at the far post. Orient had a few chances as did Yeovil , but the games final goal came from Kevin lisbie when ran and slotted it through former Orient loanee Mark Stech's legs after a long goal kick from Ryan Allsop and a flick on from Brunt.

David Mooney , Moses Odubadjo and Affy Obafemi had decent chances to get Leyton Orient's Fifth , but it wasn't to be.
