Jack Wilshire returned to training with Arsenal after an ankle injury that has ruled him out of all football action for well over a season, in an injury he sustained when Arsenal were playing in New York in the 2011/2012 pre season.

The return of this Gunners legend even though he is so young will send optimism round the Emirates to a far higher extent than any Transfer that could have happened, you only have to go to the Emirates stadium to see shirts with his name on, the most popular name in Arsenals history and that includes Thierry Henry.

So why all the hype around Wilshire, what has he got, which makes him such a commodity for Arsenal and England, well some experts relate him to have the vision and flair of Liam Brady, whilst others believe he has the passing ability of Glen Hoddle, mix them 2 up with his pace, and you have somebody who could be the superstar Arsenal and England desperately need.

His rise to fame came in the 2010/2011 when he was voted PGA young player of the year, after his first full season with Arsenal, following his loan spell at Bolton the previous year, where Owen Coyle the manager of Bolton, gave Jack the experience of 1st team football which proved, to be inspirational to Jack having a great season the year after.

So what can Jack achieve ? Well if he can regain his fitness, he can overshadow Thierry Henry at club status, but more important he can lead England to Brazil 2014 and become the hero, and will surely replace the Steve Gerrrard or Frank Lampard who are coming ot the end of their international career.

Jack may well be back into 1st team football mid October providing his training plan is successful, and this will mean that Arsenal and England could have some good time ahead.

Lets wish Jack good luck, and I for one cannot wait to see him playing 1st team football again and soon.
