Leyton orient 1 - Brentford 0

Well with the Sky Sports cameras at Brisbane Road the O's were hoping to build on the three points picked up at swindon.

The game kicked off and Brentford were winning the battle of the fans , but also the battle on the pitch. Brentford kept the ball on the floor and created many chances. Their number Four Adam Forshaw impressed me from the Away side , But the o's had their chances aswell , although most were cut out before a proper shot on target. During the first half I spent more time trying to get on camera. I watched the game back round my Grandads and noticed that Lee Cook and Martin Rowlands had very good spells of possesion creating half cut chances for the O's , But the Second half was where the game really opened up.

Half Time Leyton Orient 0 - Brentford 0

The second Half saw the O's playing more decent football , of which was seen at Swindon Away. Trickery by lee cook and Dean Cox opened the play up for the the Orient. Lisbie got pulled over at one stage and a penalty was not given , however it was more stone wall than the one given at Charlton. I believe it was Rowlands or cook that whipped the cross in and no one was there to head it in. Brentford had their chances , Most recognizeable was Clayton Donaldsons chip which Ryan Allsop pulled off a stunning save. Directly after this a free flowing move involving Cox , Cook and Rowlands led to Griffith shot going just wide of the goal.

Ryan Brunt had replaced Symes a few minuites before Lee cook gave way for Moses odubadjo. This was the Turning point of the game. A long throw in to the box was cleared only as far as Martin Rowlands who lobbed the ball back in to an 'Offside' Ryan brunt who controlled it on his chest , turned round the defender and stroked it in with is left foot.

Not knowing it was offside till I Got home I Decided to watch the goal again , Yes three orient players were offside when the ball was played , but the ball touched the Brentford center half before it touched Brunt.

Offside or Onside the o's got the bit of luck they finally deserved.
