Chelsea's first London derby is this Saturday, The Blues will be facing QPR at Loftus Road in what is sure to be a test of Chelsea's mettle. Last season, this fixture ended acrimoniously - court cases and FA hearings followed the clash. The match isn't remembered for the actual result, in reality it's remembered for the chaos that ensued after the final whistle.
Predicted Chelsea line-up

Predicted QPR line-up

Chelsea will know that they're in for a physical battle where hard work will be rewarded with three points. For this reason, Juan Mata will find himself on the bench as he's struggled to fitness after a summer with no break. Ryan Bertrand will pip Victor Moses to start on the left flank as he's more familiar with his team mates which is invaluable as Chelsea will need a real team effort to come through the match unscathed. Bertrand and Ramires' pace and work rates will also make life much harder for Fabio and Bosingwa, both of whom like to attack. Similar to Chelsea, QPR will be looking for their players to put in a long shift and press Chelsea all over the pitch. Mark Hughes will tell them not to let the likes of Hazard and Lampard breathe and hinder them distributing the ball as they do. With two aging, slow centre backs, QPR will try to nullify Torres' electrifying pace by cutting him off at the source -- Eden Hazard. Alejandro Faurlin will be charged with the task of muting Eden Hazard's creative flair, which is no mean feat. Andy Johnson will be in charge of pressuring Chelsea's other creative midfielder, Frank Lampard, preventing him from starting Chelsea's attacks. Johnson is renowned for his work rate and he'll be nipping at Lampard's heels all game long.
The only thing that will separate these rivals will be a moment of brilliance from Chelsea. It could come from Eden Hazard, Fernando Torres or the likes of Juan Mata coming off the bench. QPR are sure to push Chelsea all the way but Chelsea have the quality to come through this test and maintain their 100% record.
Predicted score: QPR 0-1 Chelsea (Torres)
