With a mixed start to the season , will Russel Slade's men go for glory or will it be another season of doom and gloom?
Well first of all I want to say hi to my followers on twitter and readers of my articles. Thank you for your ongoing support. On a personal level these next nine or so months will be big and exciting for me and the 2012/2013 campaign could be a big one for the boys from E10.
Throughout the last few months many players have came in to the club and many have departed. This season will see some various changes in the club. These range from our stunning new nike kits , to a new captain in Ex Huddersfield player Nathan clarke , whos younger brother tommy had a loan spell with us last season.
The one question on many O's fans lips is ''what should we expect from this season?''
The 2012/2013 squad!
Well if you go from what we have seen in pre season , then the omens do not look that good as we have only picked up three wins in our warm up games and two of these were played behind closed doors , These came in the form of a 2-0 and 2-1 win against Wolves and QPR Xl squads respectively. The other results apart from the 5-3 win against Sutton United are more or less forgetable.
The O's will play their first competative game of the new season against Charlton Athletic at the Infamous Valley. This will be a massive test for Leyton Orient as there is no room for error as this game is the 1st round of the newly named 'Capital One' Cup (Carling cup). I earge all Orient fans to make the trip and make it one to remember and support the lads into the next round , I went last season and it was an incredible day out , despite the result , Hopefully the boys will bounce back on Tuesday night and get the win.
Anyway this was just a brief taster of what to expect throughout the course of the season.
Thank you for reading and COYO's.
