Just a look on how Bolton Wanderers have come along since facing relegation.

Honestly, as a Bolton fan, I don't know. With the loss of arguably our best midfielder last season in Nigel Reo-Coker, our best finisher in Ivan Klasnic, an important defender David Wheater (Out for 9 months with injury), and the loss of veteran goal-keeper Jussi Jaaskelainan, It seems a daunting task to bounce back immediately. On the other hand we have made a couple of signings in which I'll go into a bit more detail further on.

Rumours, Rumours, Rumous.

So far in the transfer window Bolton have been linked to quite a few potential targets, With the likes of bringing back Ryo Miyaichi on loan and also been linked to a loan move for Oriol Romeu. Both of these needless to say are very good players, and most probably future stars, I wouldn't mind seeing any of them at the Reebok for the coming season. Oriol Romeu is a very classy spanish midfielder and already shown signs of promise at the age of just 21, he has got an eye for a pass and I think with Stuart Holden out last season Bolton were lacking someone with that capability, Mark Davies never really filled the boots of Stuart Holden and shied away from the ball too much, if anything happens to Stuart Holden again (touch wood it doesn't) then we need someone like Oriol Romeu. Ryo Miyaichi would be a good addition to the squad but with Lee Chung Yong back from a horrific injury, I don't see that he'll get too much game time, with Eagles, Petrov and Lee. I think playing in a lower league Experience is key.

The Deal Is Done.

On to the people we have actually signed now. Starting off with Keith Andrews, I really like this guy, during the Euros he was Republic of Irelands best player, I know that doesn't say much but he also completed a really successful loan at Ipswich last year, scoring a mighty 9 goals in 20 games from Midfield. If he can replicate that success at Bolton, for a free transfer not too bad eh? Moving on to the other two, we'll start with Matt Mills, I've not seen much of this lad, he seems enthusiastic about joining Bollton but I'm not sure about him. He was frozen out at Leicester and didn't get much playing time, but a few Leicester fans have told me that he's a good player, so I'm happy about that. Finally we have signed Andy Lonergan, I haven't seen this guy play a single match, so I'm really in no place to comment on him, but from what I've heard he's a decent goal keeper, but his handling is poor, that seems to be the general idea I'm getting about him. But like I said, until I have seen him play I am in no place to judge the bloke.

All in all I'm happy with the three signings we've made and hopefully we can bounce back at the first time of trying, well atleast that's what the optimistic side in me is saying, but the pessimistic side in me thinks that the play offs are our best bet.
