My English Premier League Team of the Year for 2011-12 season. Have a read, see if you agree with me, or are there any changes you would make?

GK - Tim Krul (Newcastle), fantastic season, provided crucial/excellent saves at crucial times, and was integral in Newcastle's charge to 5th spot to get European football next season.

RB - Micah Richards (Man. City), strong, powerful, excellent defensively and going forward all season. Unlucky not to be in the England squad for this summers European Championships.

CB - Vincent Kompany (Man. City), great leader all season for City, but his awesome defensive ability attracted most attention, as well as scoring crucial goals including the winner against Manchester United at home.

CB - Fabricio Coloccini (Newcastle), considering the dodgy start when he first arrived at Newcastle, this season he was a complete stalwart at the back and was severly missed during a brief spell due to injury.

LB - Jose Enrique (Liverpool), despite a poor season as a club for Livepool, he enjoyed a good first season as one of few positives for them. Their best performer by far, just pipping Leighton Baines to this position.

RM - Leon Osman (Everton), very underrated, Everton's Mr consistent this season, combining effort and quality. Helping Everton to 7th place with some crucial goal and consistently good performances.

CM - Gylfi Sigurdsson (Swansea), excellent signing, who fit in perfectly to Swansea's style of play, 7 goals from midfield and a general class act. A top priority for Swansea to sign permanently this summer.

CM - Yaya Toure (Man. City), he drove City to the title from midfield, took games by the scruff of the neck in pressure situations to get much needed points at crucial times in the season. Most noticeably his goal against Newcastle in the second last game.

LM - Victor Moses (Wigan), was the only positive through poor periods for Wigan, and was the main orchestrate of Wigan's excellent end of season form, which saw them beat several sides including Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool.

ST - Robin Van Persie (Arsenal), 30 goals in the league, and was the main reason why Arsenal came 3rd after being written off so early on in the season. Vital Arsenal persuade him to stay and sign a new deal.

ST - Wayne Rooney (Man. Utd), 27 league goals as well as providing goals for others in the team, and he kept Utd in the title race until the very last minutes of the season.

There were some tough decisions there, several players including the likes of Baines, Jagielka, Yakubu, Silva, Aguero, Hart, Modric, Vorm, Holt, Parker, Valencia, Sessegnon etc who all had excellent seasons may easily have been selected.
