Wesley Sneijder
It was done deal but at the end something happened that prevented Sneijder from joining Manchester United in last Summer’s transfer window and has suffered from it seeing as he is no longer a sure starter for Inter.A move to one of the Manchester clubs seems very likely and there are also reports that Russian billionaires Anzhi Makhachkala are preparing a transfer bid for the Dutch midfielder.

The Brazilian has had an expected decline to his stats after having lost his striking partner Falcao, yet Hulk has been the leading figure of his team, who are currently sitting at the top of the Portuguese league. With his value and reputation continuing to grow and the likes of Inter, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Barcelona interested in the winger expect Hulk to be playing his final games with a Porto shirt.

Mario Götze
With Neymar getting much of the hype for being a young star, many forget that the German sensation is younger than the Brazilian. Already a star and  in his club and country, the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United have come asking for the teenage sensation but would seem that they have been turned away after the German signed a new contract that will  keep him with Borussia Dortmund until 2016 but will that stop big spenders Real Madrid from trying?

Nuri Şahin
Speaking of Madrid, are they aware that they have a world class talent sitting on the bench? With only 5 appearances so far in this season one has to wonder whether or not Şahin will look for a way out of Madrid, with teams like Malaga interested, los Galacticos have said that they will be listening to loan offers for the ex-Borussia Dortmund midfielder.

Alexandre Pato
The young striker was almost sold to PSG on the last transfer window but Milan gave the player the decision to say yes or no to the switch, which he declined. Since then the Brazilian has spent his time injured and the Rossoneri have announced that this will be his final chance, PSG could well have just spent a couple of months waiting for the inevitable.

Carlos Tevez
The Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde of the footballing world. There is no denying that when Tevez wants to play there are few better than him but thanks to his attitude that can only last for so long. After a shaky period with Man City  things finally collapsed at Munich in the much talked about bench debacle. Despite the problems that he can bring aside his talents there has been interest from both Milan teams and a few other big clubs. With more time to work things out this summer it would seem that Carlos will finally have his wish, of leaving Manchester for good, granted.

Eden Hazard
In my opinion, Hazard will be the most sought after player this summer. With 44 goals and 34 assists in 180 appearances the Lille star is a world-class playmaker. The Belgian has stated that he wants a move to the premier league with Tottenham, Chelsea and both Manchester clubs fighting for his signature. Whoever does sign him, will have signed what many are considering the second “Cristiano Ronaldo”

Yann M’Vila
“The next Patrick Viera” is what many are calling the 21 year old defensive midfielder  who has impressed and performed excellently these past seasons with Rennes and has grabbed the attention of both Real Madrid and Arsenal. The Gunners were close to signing him last year and may have to break out the checkbook this season but the Frenchmen has said that he would love to play for Arsene Wenger which would give the London club the edge over “Los Blancos”.

Lukas Podolski
A star with his Country and a regular at the club, how he does it, no one knows but there is no denying Podolski’s immense talent. With a return to his original club, FC Köln, the striker/winger has been recovering his form and has captured the attention of several clubs: Juventus, Lazio, Spurs and Arsenal. It has been reported that a deal has already been agreed between Köln and Arsenal which would bring the German to London at the end of the season, although Podolski has denied such claim.

Giuseppe Rossi
Pretended by the likes of Barcelona and Juventus this was the season in which all the reflectors would have been on the American born Italian had it not been for an injury that has kept the striker out since October.  Although some teams have lost interest in him, there are still a group of teams looking to sign him: Tottenham, Liverpool, Roma, Inter and Napoli.

Andres Guardado
“El Principito (The Prince)” as they call him, the Mexican has showed immense talent in his time in Spain yet constant injuries have limited the Mexicans progression and scared away interested teams. But it appears that injuries are no longer a concern for him as he has shined in Spain’s second division after Deportivo La Coruña was relegated last season, in which his absence was a factor, and is spearheading a return to La Liga’s top flight. Teams like Valencia, Roma, Sevilla and Atletico Madrid have noticed and are presumed to be fighting each other this Summer for his signature.

Dimitar Berbatov
Love him or hate him, the Bulgarian is a natural goal scorer. After a season in which he tied with Tevez for the EPL’s top scorer award, he has been left on the Manchester United bench with only 19 appearances in 6 competitions this season, the striker will be looking out of Old Trafford this summer. Teams like Bayern Leverkusen, Anzhi Makhachkala, Valencia, PSG and Galatasaray have been speculated with making a move for the 30 year old and United have stated that they will let him leave this Summer.

Rene Adler
When healthy he is considered one of the top goalkeepers in the game but unfortunately injuries have kept the German keeper away from Bayern Leverkusen to the point that the team has signed Bernd Leno as his replacement. He has announced that he will leave the club, as his contract is set to expire,  this summer and teams like Hamburg, Schalke 04 and Tottenham are rumored to be interested.

 Luka Modric
“The Xavi of the Premier League” as some will call him,  the Croatian’s ability to manage the football game is considered to be in the top 5 best in the world, which would explain why Chelsea tried its hardest to sign him last transfer window. Reports suggest that Chelsea will again go for Modric but will see competition from Manchester United. Tottenham will obviously try to retain its top player, and if all ends well this season, will be able to offer him Champions League football.
